Object

These terms and conditions set forth the terms applicable to the subscription and use of our Web Application Firewall (WAF) based on the Software as a Service (SaaS) model. By subscribing and using our tool, the user agrees to comply with these terms.

The purpose of the agreement is to grant the subscriber a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access and use CoreWAF during the subscription period.

Description of the tool and functionalities

CoreWAF.com offers licenses for the use of its web application firewall through its website corewaf.com. The tool is offered as a cloud service based on the SaaS model.

User registration

Users can create an account and access the CoreWAF control panel to manage firewall rules, view traffic logs and configure protection for their domains.

Integration without DNS changes

An integration snippet is provided that the user installs in their web application. No DNS changes are required and traffic is not redirected through intermediate servers.

Custom rules

Users can create their own rules to block or allow traffic based on IPs, request patterns, HTTP headers, paths and other criteria. Rules are deployed in real time.

Real-time logs and reports

The tool provides real-time logs of blocked and allowed requests, with detail of IP, User-Agent, URI, detected attack type and timestamp.

Fail-open mode

CoreWAF is designed in fail-open mode: if the tool experiences any issue, traffic passes directly to the application without interrupting the service.

CDN compatibility

CoreWAF is compatible with any CDN (Cloudflare, Fastly, BunnyCDN, etc.) as it operates at the server application layer, not at the DNS level.

How to purchase CoreWAF licenses

To acquire a license, the user must register at corewaf.com, select a plan, fill in billing information, and complete payment via Stripe. Upon payment, an invoice is automatically generated and the user has immediate access to the contracted plan.

Duration of subscription

The subscription has a fixed duration (monthly or annual). At the end of the subscription period, it will be automatically renewed for equal periods, unless the subscriber requests cancellation. CoreWAF will send a renewal reminder by email three days before expiry.

Legal guarantees

CoreWAF shall be liable for any lack of conformity that may arise within a period of two years from the time of delivery. The consumer may require CoreWAF to remedy the lack of conformity, reduce the price or terminate the contract.

Exclusion of liability

The use of the CoreWAF tool is done under the sole responsibility of the user. CoreWAF shall not be liable for any damage, loss or consequence arising from improper, negligent or unauthorized use of the tool. In no event shall CoreWAF be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages.

Fair use

All CoreWAF services are subject to a fair use clause. CoreWAF reserves the right to contact customers deemed to be abusing the service to define usage conditions. Abuse of the support service may result in suspension or cancellation of the license.

Billing

After payment, the tool will automatically generate an invoice available for download from your account at app.corewaf.com.

Prices

Prices are expressed in Euros and include applicable VAT (21%). Prices may vary at any time; the applicable price is the one in effect on the date the order is placed.

Form of payment

Payments must be made by credit card through Stripe. Refunds will be processed through the same payment card.

Non-payment

If payment is not received on the established date, the platform will automatically block the user. To request reactivation, use our contact form.

Return and withdrawal policy

Monthly or annual licenses cannot be returned as they provide direct access to the service. For renewable licenses, the customer can cancel the subscription at any time and will only be charged up to the time of cancellation. Withdrawal (14 calendar days, no reason required) can only be exercised BEFORE accessing the tool for the first time.

Express prohibitions

The CoreWAF license is for legitimate use only. It is not permitted to resell, sublicense or transfer usage rights to third parties. Each license is personal and non-transferable.

Intellectual property

All digital products are the exclusive property of CoreWAF and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Jurisdiction and applicable laws

These terms are governed by Spanish law. The parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the User's domicile.
